Music at GPC

GPC enjoys a diverse range of music in our worship services and in special events such as potlucks and picnics.

Our Chancel Choir is directed and accompanied by Josephine Brummel, who also coordinates our overall music program. Our Praise Band features guitars, bass, keyboard, drums, and clarinet, as well as rousing vocal harmonies.

We also have a resident Jazz Band and Recorder Group, who play music during worship services several times a year.

Additionally, our congregation is blessed with a number of skilled musicians and singers who periodically offer special music during worship.

The Eduardo Villa Performing Arts Camp

This very special annual summer program was founded by, and is partially funded by, world-renowned operatic tenor Eduardo Villa, whose "home church" is Goleta Presbyterian.

The program is for young people who will be entering grades 3 - 8 in the fall. They receive instruction in music, drama, rhythm, movement, costuming, and crafts. At the end of the program, the students present a performance in the Sunday worship service.
